Storm Clean-up and Street Cleaning Updates
On Friday, August 4, Street Maintenance crews cleaned debris from Rush Street, Bradshaw Drive, the downtown area, and inspected and cleaned in the path of Thursday’s storm. They also inspected areas where wash-outs were reported on Alta Vista Pl. All three sweepers were cleaning debris from streets in the affected areas of the City.
During the week of August 7, 2017, crews are planning to respond to storm-related requests from Comfort Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Douglas Avenue, Demerse Avenue, Kelmo Drive, Pleasant Valley Drive, Flora Street and Northside Drive.

The Streets Division maintains over 500 lane miles of public roadways and rights-of-way in the City. Division employees work or are on-call 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, to respond to problems and weather related emergencies.
