Trails Volunteers

over-the-hillThe Over the Hill Gang is an all volunteer group dedicated to the construction and maintenance of the Great Prescott Area trails. The group was established in the 1990’s in conjunction with Yavapai Trails Association and the Prescott National Forest. Trail work is on Mondays and Fridays with the City of Prescott and Thursdays with the Prescott National Forest. There are often special projects on the other days.

Trails Work Schedule

On Friday July 19 the OHG will be working on trails in the Dells. We will meet 8 AM in the Watson Lake parking lot inside from the roundabout to the east. Bypass the entry Kiosk and parking passes will be provided by the City as needed. We will car pool to the work location. Coming up on July 31 is the City Recreational Services volunteers picnic at Goldwater Lake. This will be at the upper ramada from 11 AM - 1 PM on Wednesday, July 31. The food is provided by the City, however participants may want to bring their own special beverages.
