Trails Volunteers

over-the-hillThe Over the Hill Gang is an all volunteer group dedicated to the construction and maintenance of the Great Prescott Area trails. The group was established in the 1990’s in conjunction with Yavapai Trails Association and the Prescott National Forest. Trail work is on Mondays and Fridays with the City of Prescott and Thursdays with the Prescott National Forest. There are often special projects on the other days.

Trails Work Schedule

Monday September 16 the Over the Hill Gang will be working on one of the access trails to the Prescott Circle Trail. We will meet at 8AM in the parking area off of Arizona and Gurley by the Armory and skate park at Lindley Field. We will car pool to the trail entrance(s). There are as many as 3000 high school mountain bikers scheduled to compete in Pioneer Park on September 21. The pedestrian bridge along Willow Lake Road at Britni has now been replaced. You can check out the construction of the bridge on the Over the Hill Gang Prescott, Facebook page. This years holiday pot luck will be on Saturday, December 7.
