Maureen Scott, City Clerk


City Clerk Maureen Scott joined the City of Prescott team July 2017.  She has eleven and a half years experience with the City of Goodyear City Clerk’s Office, where she served as City Clerk from 2012 to 2017.

Ms. Scott has a Master of Public Administration degree from Troy State University.  She earned her Secretary of State Election Certification in 2007 and the League of Cities Election Certification in 2008.  She attends the Secretary of State recertification training every two years.

Ms. Scott is a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and received her Certified Municipal Clerk designation in October 2009.  She received her Master Municipal Clerk designation in August 2014.  She has been active on several different committees with the Arizona Municipal Clerk’s Association.
