Whiskey Off-Road April 29 through May 1 – Event and Traffic Information

The City of Prescott and the Prescott National Forest cooperatively host the annual three-day Whiskey Off-Road celebration with Epic Rides. Events are scheduled April 29 through May 1. Please review the road closure map for downtown and plan travel accordingly.

Festivities kick off on the evening of Friday, April 29, at 3:00 p.m. with the 15 Proof Fun Ride, and continue on at 5:00 p.m. with the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company Beer Garden and Fat Tire Criterium. Saturday brings the kick-off of the 50 proof at 7:30 a.m. and the 30 proof at 9:30 a.m., both at the start/finish line at the mid-block of Goodwin Street. This year's start/finish line on Goodwin accommodates new singletrack added to the 30 and 50 Proof routes with course options for beginners, seasoned riders, and professionals.

The 2016 Whiskey Off-Road has expanded to include a three day music festival headlined by Black Joe Lewis, Haymarket Squares, and Jared and the Mill. Join Epic Rides, the City of Prescott, and the Eagles Aerie 3600 Chapter for free live music Friday, April 29 at 5:30 p.m., from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, April 30, and from 10:00 a.m. 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 1, on the lawn of downtown Courthouse Plaza. Days of rock steady music and mellow vibes includes a canned good drive for the Yavapai Food Bank. Event organizers request that all attendees bring two canned goods for donation at the Food Bank tent.

Event related ingredients making up the "Event Hub" consist of the Whiskey start/finsh line, a well appointed vendor and tech expo, side shows, kids fun ride, live music and a one of a kind opportunity to be submerged in the mountain bike industry's culture while enjoying a cool mountain evening in good company – bring a chair, steady vibes and good friends, then relax on the lawn as the bands belt out tunes, the podiums are announced and the sun sets on Prescott's historic (and sometimes infamous) Whiskey Row.

Fundraising activities associated with the Whiskey Off-Road are to benefit the Yavapai County Food Bank, Prescott Alternative Transportation, Prevent Child Abuse Arizona and Prescott Mountain Bike Alliance.
