Week of Christmas & New Year’s Schedule for Solid Waste Collection and Transfer Station
The Solid Waste Division will be collecting trash and recyclables on the following schedule for the holidays:
RESIDENTIAL ROUTES FOR THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS:
Monday, December 24th, Normal Collection
Tuesday, December 25th, Christmas Day, No Collection
Wednesday, December 26th, Tuesday’s trash and recycle route will be collected
Thursday, December 27th, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s trash and recycle routes will be collected
Friday, December 28th, Normal Collection
RESIDENTIAL ROUTES FOR THE WEEK OF NEW YEAR’S:
Monday, December 31st, Normal Collection
Tuesday, January 1st, New Year’s Day, No Collection
Wednesday, January 2nd, Tuesday’s trash and recycle route will be collected
Thursday, January 3rd, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s trash and recycle routes will be collected
Friday, January 4th, Normal Collection
Please have your trash and recycling containers out by 6:00 a.m. for service as outlined in the above schedule. Have all material placed inside the trash and recycling cart for collection. The operators are unable to load additional material placed outside the containers. Excess recyclables that are generated due to the holiday season and do not fit inside your container may be dropped off at the Recycle Convenience Center located at 2800 Sundog Ranch Rd.
COMMERCIAL ROUTES FOR THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS:
Tuesday, December 25, Christmas Day, No collection
Wednesday, December 26, Both Tuesday and Wednesday Commercial routes will be collected on Wednesday.
COMMERCIAL ROUTES FOR THE WEEK OF NEW YEAR’S:
Tuesday, January 1st, New Year’s Day, No collection
Wednesday, January 2nd, both Tuesday and Wednesday Commercial routes will be collected on Wednesday.
TRANSFER STATION FOR THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS:
The City of Prescott Transfer Station will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th Christmas Day. The Transfer Station will reopen on Wednesday, December 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please remember to contain and cover all loads when transporting them to the Transfer Station located at 2800 Sundog Ranch Road.
TRANSFER STATION FOR THE WEEK NEW YEAR’S:
The City of Prescott Transfer Station will be closed on Tuesday, January 1st, New Year’s Day. The Transfer Station will reopen on Wednesday, January 2nd from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please remember to contain and cover all loads when transporting them to the Transfer Station located at 2800 Sundog Ranch Road.
