Trash and Recylables NOT collected on Christmas Day
The City of Prescott Solid Waste Division will NOT collect residential trash and recyclables on Christmas day, Thursday, December 25th. Collection will take place on Friday, December 26th. If Thursday is your normal day of collection, please have your containers curbside on Friday by 6:00 a.m. Commercial routes will also be serviced on the Friday after Christmas.
In addition, residential trash and recyclables will not be collected on New Year�s Day, Thursday, January 1st

The City of Prescott Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday, January 1st and reopen on Friday, January 2nd from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please remember to contain and cover all loads when transporting them to the Transfer Station located at 2800 Sundog Ranch Road.
