Thanksgiving Day Trash and Recycling Schedule and Free Cooking Oil Dropoff

The Solid Waste Division WILL NOT BE collecting residential trash or recyclables on Thursday, November 23, 2017. All Thursday collections will take place on Friday, November 24, 2017. Please have your containers curbside by 6:00 a.m. Commercial routes will also be serviced on the Friday after Thanksgiving. All Friday service will be collected as usual on Friday, November 24, 2016.

The City of Prescott Transfer Station WILL BE closed on Thursday, November 23, 2016 and will reopen on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please remember to contain and cover all loads when transporting them to the Transfer Station located at 2800 Sundog Ranch Road.

To help you with your cooking oil disposal needs, the City of Prescott Solid Waste Division will be accepting used cooking oil from City of Prescott residents at the Transfer Station. The Transfer Station is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Bring your cooled oil in its original container to the Transfer Station for recycling. Cooled oil Drop-off is also available year round for City of Prescott residents during the Transfer Station’s normal business hours. Commercial or business drop-off will not be accepted.
