Acker Grant

The City of Prescott Acker Trust is now accepting grant applications from
eligible non-profit organizations. In accordance with the will of J.S. Acker, non-profit organizations that promote “… music and parks, especially for the children of Prescott …” are encouraged to apply for funding for Fiscal Year 2022 (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023). The application deadline is Friday, March 11, 2022.

Applications are available below  or at the Recreation Services Office, 824 E. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ 86301. please call Sam Rice at (928) 777-1588 for more information.

December 31, 2021 (on or before)
March 11, 2022Application Deadline – Turn in applications at 824 E. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ
April 21, 2022Presentation Meeting – Applicants must present their proposal to the Acker Trust Board (Grace Sparkes Activity Center)
May 26, 2022Distribution Meeting – Acker Trust Board reviews and votes on distribution of funds to applicants
June 3, 2022 (on or after)Board Recommendation Letters will be sent to applicants through Recreation Services staff
July 12, 2022 (on or after)City Council reviews Acker Trust Board recommendations and vote
July 28, 2022 (on or after)Council approval letters will be sent to applicants through Recreation Services staff
Funding:Funds will be dispersed upon completion of grantee’s program.  A request letter must be submitted
Note:Dates are approximate and it is the applicant’s responsibility to confirm deadlines and presentation dates, which are applicable to them
