NOTICE OF INTENT TO INCREASE AND ADD NEW SOLID WASTE FEES AND CHARGES

Pursuant to A.R.S. §9-499.15, notice is hereby given that the Prescott City Council will consider and possibly adopt new and increased fees and charges for solid waste collection and disposal (generally referred to as “Solid Waste Service Fees”) at its regularly scheduled City Council meeting on January 24, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., located in the City Council Chambers at Prescott City Hall, 201 S. Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ. The City Council will discuss these proposed increases and additions to the Solid Waste Service Fees at its 1:00 p.m. Study Session meeting on January 10, 2023.The new and increased solid waste fees and charges (Solid Waste Service Fees) will become effective thirty (30) days after the adoption of these new and increased fees by the Prescott City Council.

The proposed schedule and written report supporting the proposed increase of solid waste fees and charges, including the newest proposed additions and increases to the Solid Waste Service Fees, is available on the City of Prescott’s website and can be accessed through the following hyper-links:

  1. Written Report Supporting the Proposed Increase of Solid Waste Fees and Charges including Schedule of the Proposed Increase of Solid Waste Fees and Charges 2022-11-17_Solid_Waste_Rate_Study;
  2. A one page Schedule showing the latest proposed new and increased Solid Waste Service Fees, which the City Council will be considering and possibly adopting at its January 24, 2023, regularly scheduled City Council Meeting, more specifically identified and addressed above. Copies of the aforementioned Schedule and Report have also been filed in the Office of the City Clerk, 201 S. Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ, on the date of this posting.
