Prescott Named Among Most Charming Small Cities in Arizona by TravelMag.com
Prescott was named as one of the “Most Charming Small Cities in Arizona”, by TravelMag.com. This designation was given following a survey of over 100 travel writers, photographers and social media influencers.
The article mentions Prescott’s unique combination of outdoor adventure and historic charm. “With its 1.25 million acres of National Forest, three lakes, and a bounty of parks and trails, it’s no wonder why Expedia hailed the former territorial capital the Best Arizona Destination for Nature Lovers.”
The article goes on to talk about historic Whiskey Row, and the World’s Oldest Rodeo ™.
There was a secondary mention of this designation by Cision, and affiliate of PR Newswire.
“We are proud to receive yet another designation from a media source,” said Prescott Mayor Greg Mengarelli. “As residents, we know what a jewel Prescott is, and it is gratifying to be recognized by professional journalists and visitors as well.”
Prescott was named among several other Arizona cities, including Sedona and Cottonwood, also in Yavapai County.
