Ongoing City Negotiations with Arizona Eco Development (AED) for Proposed Development Agreement

At the most recent study session on June 15th, Prescott City Council decided by consensus to move the date for the special voting meeting to July 13th.   Below is a revised schedule of upcoming meetings. 

  • Tuesday, June 22nd      1 pm – Study Session to review public comments
  • Tuesday, June 22nd     3:30 pm – Statutory Public Hearing Meeting
  • June 29th                    1 p.m. Study Session for Public Comments (Tentative-If Needed)
  • Tuesday, July 13th       1 pm –  Special Voting Meeting

The City has also developed a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document, which is attached.  The FAQ document, the entire development agreement, meeting links and informative documents are posted on the City’s website.  There is also a special email address for citizens to use to comment on the development agreement and annexation.  AED-Council@prescott-az.gov.  Public comment will be collected throughout the process, and comments will be tallied, then summarized for the Council and the public.
