Neighborhood Clean-Up Event March 28

The City of Prescott and the Prescott Police Department, Code Enforcement Section, would like to announce an upcoming Community Clean-up Event. The event will take place on Saturday March 28, 2015 from 8:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. at 601 W. Hillside Avenue in Prescott.

As in years past, the West Yavapai Guidance Clinic has donated the use of their property, at 601 W. Hillside for this event. There will be roll off dumpsters on site for house hold items and yard debris which can be dropped off at the location, free of charge during the event. City of Prescott Code Enforcement as well as the Prescott Police Department Crime Prevention unit will be on hand to address neighborhood issues and crime prevention concerns. Members of the Prescott Police Department Explorer Post #778 will also be in attendance to assist local residents with removing trash from vehicles to the dumpsters.

Please be aware that no hazardous waste materials such as paint, batteries, pesticides, tires or construction materials (to include concrete) will be accepted for disposal at this event. No commercial dumping will be accepted. Loose trash and yard waste must be contained. House hold trash needs to be bagged. And, tree trimmings need to be bundled into 4-foot sections or bagged.

The Prescott Police Department would like to extend our thanks to our community partners, the West Yavapai Guidance Clinic and Wells Fargo Mortgage and the City of Prescott Sanitation Department, for sponsoring and supporting this event.
