National Night Out

More than 20 National Night Out events were held throughout Prescott last night, providing a unique opportunity for the City of Prescott to promote cooperative, police-community crime prevention efforts.

Prescott Mayor Marlin Kuykendall, Police Chief Jerald Monahan and Fire Chief Dennis Light were among the City personnel who spoke with community groups on the importance of crime prevention programs and the impact that their participation can have on reducing crime, drugs and violence in the City.

National Night Out is held nationwide on the first Tuesday in August.
