City of Prescott Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Online Registration begins Monday, February 8th

The City of Prescott will be hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection for City residents from March 1st – 19th to allow residents the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted household hazardous items.

Materials accepted include, but are not limited to, insecticides, pesticides, gasoline, car batteries, drain and oven cleaners, bleaches, CFL and Fluorescent Light bulbs (unbroken), oil and latex paint (20- gallon limit), stain thinners, sealers, adhesives, non-alkaline batteries and old mercury thermometers.  Empty containers and dried paint cans should be placed in your regular trash cart.

This is a curb-side pick-up event for residential utility customers only, no services will be provided for commercial businesses.

Pre-registration is required to participate.  Residents can call 928-777-1116 or register online at www.prescott-az.gov for this service beginning Monday, February 8th.  Collection will begin Monday, March 1st.
