City of Prescott Historic Preservation Commission Study Session to Review Prescott Plaza Hotel Proposed Development July 14 at 9 a.m.
PRESCOTT, AZ (July 7, 2023) – City of Prescott Historic Preservation Commission will hold a study session to review the proposed Prescott Plaza Hotel on Friday July 14 at 9 a.m. at City Hall, 201 N. Montezuma Street, third floor council chambers. The developer is proposing demolition of the existing building, and constructing a 55-room, 5 story boutique hotel. The current address is 136, 138 and 140 S. Montezuma Street, currently occupied by Mountain Spirit Gallery, Whiskey Row Harley Davidson and Wild at Heart.
The official Public Notice document is attached. The notice was mailed on June 26, to all addresses within a half mile of the Courthouse Plaza. There were 1218 recipients total. A full Agenda packet will be posted on the City’s meeting portal at https://prescottaz.portal.civicclerk.com/ approximately one week preceding the meeting.
Please note: Space is limited in Council Chambers (201 N. Montezuma). The City will provide a secondary location set up to receive the public at the Prescott Police Department Training Room (222 S. Marina St.). The public will be able to provide input from this location as well. Doors will open at 8:30 am at both locations.

Written correspondence be received no later than July 11th in order for it to be compiled and sent to Commissioners prior to the meeting. Early comment is encouraged as we anticipate a large volume of public input.
