City Hall Closed on Tuesday, January 26
Council Voting Meeting will Proceed Virtually, Solid Waste Collection Delayed, Will Resume When Conditions Allow
As a result of the winter weather, Prescott City Hall will be closed on Tuesday, January 26. The City Council meeting will proceed as scheduled, at 3 p.m. via Zoom.
- The Solid Waste Division was unable to complete normal trash and recycling collection operations for Monday, January 25, 2021 The Solid Waste Division plans to resume both Residential and Commercial collection routes beginning Tuesday 8 a.m. or when road and weather conditions allow. The Solid Waste Division will work the remainder of the week to catch up collection routes, this may include Saturday and Sunday. - The Prescott Public Library is closed for all services today as well. Prescott Public Library Curbside Service and Telephone Reference Service will be closed on Tuesday, January 26. - All scheduled inspections are deferred until at least tomorrow. Inspectors are attempting to call all scheduled appointments.
- Citizens are strongly urged to stay off the roads. If you must drive somewhere today, please give plows plenty of room on the road- don’t “crowd the plows”. Plows crews have been running continuously since Sunday morning, and will continue to do so until streets are passable. Crews are focusing on main arterial roads at this time. Once those are cleared, they will begin work on secondary streets. The City urges patience as crews continue to work.
