Street Maintenance is preparing, for yet another, another winter storm. This storm is forecast to move through the are very quickly, and bring as much as 3 inches of snow and very cold temperatures. Unlike the previous two storms, this event will be primarily a snow event. Driving conditions will be hazardous over night tonight, and well into tomorrow morning’s commute. Please travel only if you have to, and if so, drive with extreme caution. Streets will likely be somewhat snow packed and icy.
Sky’s should begin clearing Friday afternoon, and this will help to improve road conditions. Street Maintenance will have full snow crews on duty to plow and treat for ice beginning this afternoon. We will begin posting plowing and road condition updates here tomorrow morning.
Thank you and PLEASE DRIVE SAFELY.
