The Ride of Silence x2122; is a silent, worldwide, simultaneous, procession on bicycles to commemorate those killed or injured while riding a bicycle on public roadways. Join us for the 5th Annual Prescott Ride of Silence x2122;, held in concert with the 17th annual international Ride of Silence x2122;. Last year’s international event was represented in 373 locations, including 47 U.S. States, 20 countries, and 7 continents. This family friendly event will again feature a shorter parade route for families, children, and seniors plus a longer route for all cycling enthusiasts that will be relatively flat and no more than 8-10 miles. Both routes are supported by the City of Prescott’s Bike Patrol Officers and other area bike safety officials. Light refreshments will be available afterward. For more information or to volunteer, please contact bikeprescott2015@gmail.com and visit the international website at http://www.rideofsilence.org.
