Acker Grant

The grant process for the City of Prescott Acker Trust is now open for eligible non-profit organizations seeking funds for Fiscal Year 2020(July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020). In accordance with the will of J.S. Acker, non-profit organizations that promote “… music and parks, especially for the children of Prescott …” are encouraged to apply.

March 15, 2019 Application Deadline – Turn in applications at 824 E. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ
April 11, 2019 Presentation Meeting – Applicants must present their proposal to the Acker Trust Board (Grace Sparkes Activity Center)
May 23, 2019 Distribution Meeting – Acker Trust Board reviews and votes on distribution of funds to applicants
May 24, 2019 (on or after) Board Recommendation Letters will be sent to applicants through Recreation Services staff
July 16, 2019 (on or after) City Council reviews Acker Trust Board recommendations and vote
July 30, 2019 (on or after) Council approval letters will be sent to applicants through Recreation Services staff
Funding: Funds will be dispersed upon completion of grantee’s program.  A request letter must be submitted
Note: Dates are approximate and it is the applicant’s responsibility to confirm deadlines and presentation dates, which are applicable to them
