Pursuant to A.R.S. §9-511.01, notice is hereby given that the Prescott City Council will consider and possibly adopt new and increased fees and rates for water and wastewater services.  The original date set for Public Hearing on the matter was schedule for January 22, 2019, at the regularly scheduled 3:00 p.m. City Council meeting located in the City Council Chambers at Prescott City Hall, 201 S. Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ.  The City Council will hold a Council Work Shop at 1:00 p.m. on January 22, 2019 in the City Council chambers to discuss the proposed new and increased water and wastewater rates and fees.  The City will also take public comment at the 3:00 p.m., January 22, 2109 Public Hearing.  The Public Hearing will be held open until February 12, 2019, where additional public comment will be taken.  The earliest the City Council can take formal action on adopting any new and increased water and wastewater rates and fees will be immediately after the February 12, 2019 Public Hearing.

The increased Water and Wastewater Rates will become effective thirty (30) days after the adoption of the increases by the Prescott City Council.

The final reports for which the City Council will rely upon in determining whether to add and increase water and wastewater were filed with the City Clerk and posted on the City’s web-site on January 8, 2019.  The final written report supporting the proposed increased rates and schedule of the proposed increased rates are available on the City of Prescott’s web-site and can be accessed through the following hyper-links: Rate Setting Process

Copies of the aforementioned Schedule and Report have also been filed in the Office of the City Clerk, 201 S. Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ, on the date of this posting.
