Senator Highway Slope Stabilization Project Scheduled to Begin the Week of February 18

The City of Prescott is scheduled to begin a slope stabilization project the week of February 18, 2019. The project consists of earthwork to secure the slope along Senator Highway, between Nathan Lane and Juniper Drive.

Work may occur Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. One lane of traffic will remain open, however, please be aware of reduced speeds and flagging operations in the work zone. Motorists should allow for extra time to get through the area and expect delays. Traffic control will be adjusted to accommodate for rush hour traffic.

Once complete, this project will prevent slope erosion and increase the safety of the roadway for all users. The project is scheduled to be complete in one week.

Due to varying construction activity, the City of Prescott encourages you to visit for up-to-date project information. To receive regular eNews updates or reach a project team member, email or call the Project Hotline at (928) 237-3114.
