NOTICE OF INTENTION TO INCREASE WATER AND WASTEWATER RATES,RATE COMPONENTS, FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES

Pursuant to A.R.S. §9-511.01, the City of Prescott is providing its Notice of Intention to increase water and wastewater rates, rate components, fees and service charges. A copy of the Report supporting the proposed increases to water and wastewater rates, rate components, fees and service charges will be made available for public review and inspection at (1) the City of Prescott Clerk’s Office, located at 201 South Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ, 86303 and (2) will be posted on the City of Prescott web-site (http://www.prescott-az.gov/water-sewer/utility-billing/rate-setting-process/ )at least thirty days before the January 22, 2019, Public Hearing described further below.

 

A Public Hearing on the proposed increase in water and wastewater rates, fee components, fees and service charges will be held by the Mayor and Council at the January 22, 2019, regularly scheduled City Council Meeting at 3:00 p.m., at Prescott City Hall, 201 South Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ 86303.  The Public Hearing will be scheduled on the agenda for the purpose of presenting, discussing and taking public comment on the proposed new rates and fees.  Adoption of the new rates and fees may be made at the same City Council meeting following the Public Hearing described above, or at a later date set by the City Council.
