Phase Two of the Robinson Drive Reconstruction Project Scheduled to Begin the Week of November 4, 2019

The City of Prescott is scheduled to begin the second phase of the Robinson Drive Reconstruction Project. Building upon Phase One, the second phase of the  project consists of full road removal and replacement of Robinson Drive, from Overstreet Drive to the City limit at the intersection of Canyon Drive East. Additional work includes the installation of new storm drain along Hillcrest Lane, replacement of aged water and sewer lines, drainage improvements, and installation of concrete sidewalks, driveway entrances, and curb and gutter as needed along the project corridor.

Work may occur Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please be aware of lane restrictions, road closures, reduced speeds, rough road conditions, and flagging operations throughout the work zones. To avoid any conflicts with construction equipment, and expedite completion of the project, the city asks that you avoid on-street parking while road construction is underway. Personnel will work with businesses and residents to maintain driveway access throughout the work zones.

Once complete, this project will enhance the drainage capabilities in the improved areas, upgrade the utilities that serve the Prescott community, and provide for a smoother ride for road users well into the future. The project is scheduled to be complete in summer 2020.
