Lower Goldwater Lake Improvements Project

The City of Prescott invites you to attend a community open house for the Lower Goldwater Lake Project. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 20 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Grace Sparkes Activity Center, located at 824 E Gurley St.

The project is to construct a recreational area in the Lower Goldwater Lake area. Plans will include parking, fishing, restrooms, a Ramada, and day use areas along with a trail system that will encircle and connect both lakes.

We are very excited for the opportunity to add this great amenity to the parks system that is a large contributor to the quality of life in this community while at the same time retaining the character of this spectacular property.

The community open house will provide an opportunity to meet representatives from the project team; the design engineer from Kelley-Wise, AZ Dept. of Game & Fish as well as the City of Prescott and ask questions, and learn more about the overall project. All public input is welcome.
