Prescott Peavine Trail Partially Closed Due To Significant Storm Damage

The City of Prescott Peavine Trail has been partially closed due to significant storm damage on July 18, 2018. The main trail head, located off Sundog Ranch Road, just north of Prescott Lakes Parkway is closed indefinitely as city crews assess damage and work on a plan for restoration.

About 1000 linear feet of the southern portion of the trail (about .19 miles) of the trail were damaged and washed out by heavy rainfall, making the trail unsafe and inaccessible.

The remaining parts of the trail can still be accessed via the Watson Lake trail connection, and from the Peavine North trailhead, located at 5599 Side Road, off Granite Dells parkway.
