Paladini appointed City Attorney

PRESCOTT, AZ (January 9, 2013) - Jon Paladini has accepted the position of City Attorney for the City of Prescott. In recent days, Paladini returned to the U.S. after active duty military service in Afghanistan with the U.S. Army as a Justice Advisor and officer-in-charge at the Afghan National Security Justice Complex.
"I am very honored to have been chosen as the next City Attorney. I look forward to the opportunity to use my knowledge, experience, judgment, and leadership in the position," said Paladini. He added that as City Attorney, his office will settle for nothing less than first-rate legal work on all issues, and will serve the Council, management and staff with a straightforward, candid and responsive communication style.
Paladini's practice of municipal law in Arizona includes public sector positions with the cities of Glendale and Sedona. He earned a juris doctorate degree from the University of Miami and a holds a bachelors of science in Journalism from the University of Oregon.

Paladini will assume his new position on January 22. He was appointed to the position on January 8. Interim City Attorney Jean Wilcox will continue to fulfill the role until Paladini is on board.
