Library instructor offers computer training

Computer skills are a must these days! If you feel like everyone is using a computer except you, sign up for basic computer classes at the DES office at 1519 West Gurley Street in Prescott. These classes will be offered every Wednesday, starting June 13 until August 22.

Katy Willis, Adult Services Librarian and Job Help Hub Instructor for Prescott Public Library, will be facilitating the instruction. Space is limited! Call DES at 277-2702 to reserve your place for each class.

Computer Basics Part 1

10-10:50 a.m.

Learn the parts of a computer and how to use a mouse.

Computer Basics Part 2

11-11:50 a.m.

Learn the difference between a file and folder, how to open a document, and the magic of cutting and pasting.

Internet Basics

Noon-1 p.m.

Learn how to use a web browser, surf the Internet, and explore different websites.
