Monday, April 09, 2012
Crews have completed paving operations along northbound lanes of Williamson Valley Road, from Sidewinder Road to Standing Rock Drive. Beginning Monday, traffic will shift onto the newly paved east side of the roadway in order for crews to prepare the west side of the roadway for new curb and gutter and paving operations. Please be aware of the following impacts:
Monday, April 9 through Friday, April 13 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This work may require lane restrictions, reduced speeds, and possible flagging operations. Please be aware of construction equipment and personnel in the roadway and use caution while traveling through the project zone.
ROADWAY EXCAVATION AND GRADING CONTINUES
Throughout the week, crews will continue to excavate and grade the roadway to create a surface suitable for paving. This work includes hauling in aggregate base material and leveling the road surface to prepare for paving operations. Crews will reconfigure traffic lanes throughout the day while this work is being performed. Please be aware of the following impacts:
Monday, April 9 through Friday, April 13 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
One lane of traffic will remain open in both directions along Williamson Valley Road while this work is performed. Motorists may experience delays, frequent lane shifts and traffic stops as construction equipment and personnel move through the work zone. Rough road conditions and narrow lanes may be associated with this work. Motorists are asked to please allow extra time while traveling through the project zone.
