Granite Mountain Hotshots Learning and Tribute Center Media Day Monday, June 25, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Board of Directors of the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew Learning and Tribute Center will host a special pre-opening news media day on Monday, June 25 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the Center.

The Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew Learning and Tribute Center was created to inform the public about Wildland Fires and Wildland Fire Fighting.  The Center also pays tribute to the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots who lost their lives in the Yarnell Hill Fire of June 30, 2013.  Hundreds of learning and tribute items are on display in the 4,600 square foot center.
