The Prescott Film Festival Presents

Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM

Yavapai College Performing Arts Center 1100 East Sheldon Street

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately..." Henry David Thoreau wrote those oft-quoted words. In the new indie film "The Kings of Summer," three adolescent boys bent on escaping the clutches of their parents have decided to leave home and live in the woods in this coming of age film that packs in laughs, discovery, and parent/child relationships.

The boys decide they can't handle their parents and their reality, so they decide to create their own world and build a house in the middle of a woods-surrounded meadow. Of course, they don't tell their parents so the whole town thinks they have all been kidnapped.

City-wide panic and emotions ensue. Join us for this fun and compelling indie film!

General admission $8 - $5 YC Students and Employees. To purchase tickets or for information visit or call 928-458-7290. Tickets and will call available 45 minutes prior to show time in the YCPAC lobby.
