Tsunami's Circus Camp for Kids
Monday, June 10, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Mile High Middle School
The week before the main festival, Tsunami's Circus Camp for Kids offers local youth the opportunity to learn everything from juggling and hula-hooping to stilt walking from visiting and local professional performers and arts educators. This year, Circus Campers have the incredible opportunity to learn stilt walking from two groups of professional acrobatic stilt walkers, Nemcatacoa Teatro from Bogota, Colombia and The Carpetbag Brigade from San Francisco. As if that isn't awesome enough. Clan Tynker, the amazing family circus group from Santa Fe, NM will also be teaching juggling, drumming/music and dance. Campers have the chance to show off their new skills as the opening act on Tsunami's main stage at the festival on Saturday, June 15.
