LOCAL ARTISAN AND FARM FAIR: 8am â€“ 2pm In the Kieckhefer Classroom; businesses and artisans display their products and demonstrate their craft.
NATURALIST WALKS: 9am: Know Your Forest (Stretch-Pebble Trailhead) 11am: Natureâ€™s Neighborhoods (Stretch-Pebble Trailhead)
PIONEER WOMAN OF THE WEST: (Amphitheater) 9am â€“ 10am Mary Ramos, a delightful trip back in time to discover the wonders of our land. WORKSHOPS: (James Learning Center Library) 10am â€“ 11am Invasives 101: Jeff Schalau, Cooperative Extension Learn to distinguish between native and non-native plants. What are these plants we consider to be invasive, how did they get here and why we donâ€™t want them. 11:30pm â€“ 12:30pm Worm Wrangler: Herdis MacClellan, Master Gardener Herdis has been using compost worms for years to create nutrient rich, dependable soil for her herbs and vegetables. Meet some of her wiggly friends and learn how you can start your own vermicompost. 1pm â€“ 2pm The Chicken Whisperer: Adrian Adams, High Country Permaculture Adrian will address raising chickens in your back yard for enjoyment and the best eggs and meat you've ever tasted. Also, coop and run design, breed selection, feed and water, and egg production.
5:30pm â€“ 8:30pm CONTRA DANCE: live music by Rakish Paddy
Plants will be available for sale on Sunday, May 5th,10am â€“ 3pm.
