Arizona History Adventure: Preparing for Winter
Saturday, November 9, 2013 - Monday, November 11, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Sharlot Hall Museum, 415 W. Gurley St.
For the pioneers of Arizona, winter could be a time of peril without proper food and resources for waiting out the long months ahead. Once the rain and snow started, it could be weeks before roads were passable to go to town or even perform work around the homestead. Come find out how pioneers prepared for winter. This program is included with admission to the Museum.
