Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Ft. Whipple Museum, Bob Stump VA Center
Ft. Whipple was a frontier combat post garrisoned by both companies of infantry and cavalrymen. Officer's families were therefore viewed as "camp followers" and it was the rare enlisted man who had a family. Come find out how pioneers dealt with this social issue in frontier Arizona. This program is free and open to the public.
