Women of STEM: Ancient, Past, and Present | Library Lecture

“Women of STEM – Ancient, Past and Present” focuses on women’s efforts, achievements, and accolades in the STEM fields. Their participation and struggles paralleled and contributed to the development and transformation of the sciences, technology, engineering and mathematical disciplines. I have long had my favorite STEM women; while doing research for this speech I have found even more.

Bio: Dr. Barbara Mace is a retired gifted teacher. She taught 7th and 8th grade sciences, pre-algebra, French I, Humanities, and Seminar. Presently she volunteers as a Master Facilitator for OLLI Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) here at Yavapai College.
