Weekend of Orienteering (map and compass) events, mountain bike navigation race

Saturday, May 18 @ 8:30 am - Sunday, May 19 @ 1:00 pm

Learn the basics of navigation with map and compass with a FREE 1.5 hour clinic on Saturday morning, then test your skills on three beginner compass courses. For the more adventurous, there are also a night orienteering course, and on Sunday there is a 4-hour advanced course. Sunday also includes a mountain bike navigation race, which is integrated with the 4-hour orienteering event.

You can SAVE MONEY by pre-registering on-line by Thursday May 16 using the link below. Pre-registration reserves you a printed map on race day. The fees are collected on the day of the event. Cost is $10 individual or $15 for a team if pre-registered for each of these three events:

a) 3 Beginner/Intermediate courses on Saturday morning (10:30 AM – 1 PM)
b) Night Orienteering Saturday night (7:30 PM – 10:00 PM)
c) 4-hour “Score-O” / Adventure race (8:15 AM – 1:00 PM)
