Mayor’s Commission on Veterans Initiatives

The Mayor’s Commission on Veteran’s Initiatives was established in 2018 by Mayor Greg Mengarelli. The role and process of the Commission consists of the following: Mission – to identify and promote collaboration between Veteran programs, partners, and opportunities that enhance our Military and Veteran community members’ quality of life and make Prescott and Yavapai County the “Community of Choice” for ALL Veterans, and to provide insight and assist the Mayor, provide updated reports to the City Council, and provide leadership/partnering with the local community on Military/Veteran needs, opportunities and policy. The Commission meets once a month.
